Not too long ago, J.J. Abrams promised that while plenty of TV spots for Star Wars: The Force Awakens were on the way, none of them would actually spoil the movie. The filmmaker has remained true to his word, and while this trailer doesn’t contain any massive reveals, it is crammed full of never before seen footage.
That’s a stark contrast to the TV spots which have mostly reused the same scenes, though it’s worth noting that even this trailer only delivers extended versions of moments which have already been revealed. It’s becoming more and more apparent that there is so much more to Star Wars: The Force Awakens than any of us are expecting, and that is of course no bad thing.
[zerg]With now just a week to go until the movie is released, avoiding spoilers shouldn’t be an issue until the 16th, which is when press screenings begin. Those should be easy enough to avoid, but regardless, Star Wars: The Force Awakens currently remains the most secretive and highly anticipated release of 2015, and we can hardly wait for it.
