Now, after six years and numerous production setbacks, director Burr Steers is bringing the Bennet sisters to the screen like never before, with today’s full-length trailer for the feature pitting the mannered against the undead. Hertfordshire and its surrounding boroughs are under siege from a zombie apocalypse, though if anything, today’s sizzle reel proves that the Bennet siblings are more than capable of handling themselves, and there are some truly captivating shots included above – how about that money shot with the decapitated head, eh?

Coming by way of Entertainment Weekly, the full-length clip follows on the heels of last week’s teaser, showcasing the events that unfold when the upper echelons of British society deal with zomb – sorry, the sorry stricken. Cinderella starlet Lily James leads the charge as Elizabeth Bennet, and the actress spoke briefly about the fun to be had when the film lumps two genres under the one umbrella.

“It’s pretty great to be in a film where the five Bennet sisters are sort of the strongest characters in it and are completely able to take care of themselves,” James says. “Really, none of them needs a man.”

Social disparities aren’t the only thing bothering the well-to-do of 19th century England, and battling the waves of zombies alongside James are Matt Smith, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston, along with Game of Thrones stars Lena Headey and Charles Dance.

Following a prolonged production, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will arrive in theaters on February 5, 2016.
