Why wouldn’t Warner Brothers push for some Oscar consideration? The company looks like it’s going all out for the final Harry Potter film, and now you can watch the first “for your consideration” trailer for Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
Like it or not, Harry Potter is one of the defining pop culture happenings of the generation, and it’s the highest grossing film series of all time. To say that Harry Potter has influenced modern cinema would be a gross understatement. I would definitely argue that the last film in the series deserves some special recognition.
