Wild New Poster For The Last Sharknado Teases The Arrival Of Dinosaurs

A wild new poster for The Last Sharknado teases the arrival of dinosaurs and a whole lot more. Trust us, you're gonna want to see this.

Back in 1975, Jaws made moviegoers afraid to go in the water. Then, in 2013, Sharknado came along and no doubt forced a small percentage of the population to fear the outdoors as a whole, lest a rogue shark come by and slaughter them on their front lawn.

As ridiculous as that may sound, the pop culture phenomenon has spawned four sequels, each upping the level of absurdity and featuring a boatload of unexpected celebrity cameos, with everyone from weatherman extraordinaire Al Roker to Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor making appearances. Really, it leaves little room to wonder why the franchise has become the crown jewel in the SyFy network’s proud line of original B-movies, which also includes such gems as Sharktopus and, of course, the timeless classic Mega Croc vs. Gatoroid.

But as long as people keep tuning in, the sequels will keep on coming. Or at least, that’s what we thought when Sharknado 6 was first announced. However, this will actually be it for the franchise, which is evidenced by the next installment’s full title: The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time. It’s set to arrive later this month and now, to get the excitement levels up, SyFy’s debuted a brand new poster, which can be seen down below and features dinosaurs, sharks and a whole lot of craziness.

For more on what to expect, you can check out the official synopsis:

All is lost, or is it? Fin unlocks the time-traveling power of the SHARKNADOS in order to save the world and resurrect his family. In his quest, Fin fights Nazis, dinosaurs, knights, and even takes a ride on Noah’s Ark. This time, it’s not how to stop the sharknados, it’s when.

The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time stars series stalwarts Tara Reid, Ian Ziering and Cassie Scerbo, as was to be expected, and will be with us on August 19th. The only question that remains is, will you be tuning in? Be sure to let us know in the usual place.
