Wonder Woman Gets One Final Trailer Ahead Of Release Next Month

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 now out of the way, and making a killing at the box office, all eyes are starting to turn towards the next big comic book movie. That just so happens to be Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman, a film with enough riding on it to sink a ship. Not only does it have the unenviable task of getting the DC Extended Universe back on track after the disappointments that were Suicide Squad and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it's also hoping to prove that female-led superhero movies can be successful endeavours.

So far, the jury’s still out on whether or not it’s going to be a hit. For every positive bit of buzz we’ve heard there’s been enough of the negative variety to drown it out. Right now, it’s really a complete mystery as to how the Gal Gadot-starring film will perform, but if one thing’s for certain, it’s that Warner Bros. is doing their best to get people into theatres next month. After being criticized for not marketing the tentpole enough, the studio has now really kicked it into gear, delivering one promo after another, which all culminates in today’s final trailer.

Premiered at the MTV Movie & TV Awards earlier tonight, the last preview for Wonder Woman is a doozy, packing in enough action, glimpses of the character’s origin and more of that wonderful chemistry between Gadot and Pine to leave even the most skeptical of fans with a smile on their face. With a healthy dose of new footage, most of which looks absolutely fantastic, it’s a wholly satisfying final trailer, one that’s got us feeling fairly optimistic ahead of the blockbuster’s release next month.

Check it out for yourselves up above and get ready for Wonder Woman to storm into theatres on June 2nd.
