A-Trak And Ookay’s “Only One” Is So 2014

Even artists as ahead of the game as A-Trak find themselves leaning towards dated styles from time to time. Being that Fools Gold signee Ookay never really outgrew the festival-friendly sort of EDM that’s grown passé in recent years himself, it makes sense that he would be the one to lead the label’s founder on such a creative tangent.

That said, the two artists’ collaboration, “Only One,” is certainly a strong track for what it is. A melodic dubstep buildup leads into a trap drop so seamlessly that genres go out the window, and the sound design is as crisp as what you’d expect from a joint effort between A-Trak and Ookay.

“Only One” is the first release from Night Shift, which will showcase 18 tracks from various artists signed to Fools Gold Records. Check it out above and as always, let us know what you think down below.
