As if A-Trak‘s April song, “Parallel Lines,” wasn’t already a strong enough release on its own, he’s now uploaded a no-filler playlist of remixes of the track to his SoundCloud account. A remix series can often come across as a disingenuous means of maximizing a song’s exposure, but MSTRKRFT, Chris Lorenzo, Bart B, Holl & Rush and BLU J have each delivered flips that bring something new to the table.
We’ve already sang the praises of MSTRKRFT’s “Parallel Lines” remix, but Chris Lorenzo and Bart B also contributed wobble-heavy bass house versions of the track. Holl & Rush and BLU J hold down the more melodic end of the spectrum, with progressive and future house re-imaginings that fit it for festival and nightclub sets, respectively.
