Aly & Fila Join Forces With Luke Bond On “Million Voices” Ft. Audrey Gallagher

Aly & Fila have risen parallel to the rebirth of classic trance styles in recent months, and their latest collaboration demonstrates why that is. The Egyptian duo have teamed up with UK trance favorite Luke Bond and Irish singer/songwriter Audrey Gallagher on "Million voices," which has a remarkable measure of mass appeal for a track that the genre's purists would still celebrate.

Rolling bass kicks and echoey synth arpeggios duel with Gallagher’s vocals in the first several measures of the track, until they cut out so that her iconic vocal is accompanied only by subtle atmospheric elements. An uplifting, euphoric synth melody then takes over and drives the remainder of the arrangement even after its other components return.

Aly & Fila also recently announced Future Sound of Egypt (FSOE) Island, an event which ports over their FSOE concept to Governors Island in NYC. Being that it’s less than two months out, fans who plan to attend can expect to hear “Million Voices” during the duo’s headlining set.

In the meantime, Aly & Fila‘s Luke Bond collaboration, “Million Voices” featuring Audrey Gallagher, will come out through FSOE on June 6th. Check it out in the SoundCloud player above and visit the comments section to let us know what you think.
