In some rather unfortunate news, Avicii has indefinitely cancelled all of his upcoming performances due to health issues. Word from the DJ’s camp is that all touring and promo have been suspended while he recovers from a surgery he had earlier this year that removed his gallbladder and appendix.

While it’s not certain how long Avicii will be sidelined for, he’ll definitely be missing TomorrowWorld, his Asian tour and a good deal of his Las Vegas residency at XS and Encore Beach Club. While the exact reasons for the cancellations are unclear, it seems that he didn’t recover properly from the surgery he had back in March, the same one that caused him to miss Ultra.

Check out the official press release below, and let’s hope that Avicii gets better soon.

At Night Management has tabled all touring and promotional activities for Avicii, aka Tim Bergling, until further notice so that he can fully recuperate from lingering health issues related to surgeries that removed his gall bladder and appendix earlier this year. The international superstar, who is the #1 Most Influential Artist Under 25 according to Spotify, is taking a break at home in Stockholm so he can regain his strength and physical well-being before the release of a new album project next year.
