Avicii Debuts I’ll Be Gone On Tiesto’s Club Life Podcast

On Tiesto's recent instalment of his Club Life podcast, Avicii stopped by to premiere his new song "I'll Be Gone." The only problem is, is that it's not exactly new. Keen fans of the producer will instantly recognize the instrumental track from the Swede's remix of Liar Liar, which appeared on his True (Avicii by Avicii) album. Sure, the vocals are new, and a couple of the chords have been slightly tweaked, but this is more or less a clone of the aforementioned song.

On Tiesto’s recent instalment of his Club Life podcast, Avicii stopped by to premiere his new song “I’ll Be Gone.” The only problem is, is that it’s not exactly new. Keen fans of the producer will instantly recognize the instrumental track from the Swede’s remix of “Liar Liar,” which appeared on his True (Avicii by Avicii Mixes) album.

Sure, the vocals are different, and a couple of the chords have been slightly tweaked, but this is more or less a clone of the aforementioned song. As with the original, it features catchy melodies and pop-y vocals, staying true to the music that we know and love Avicii for. It’s a well produced track, make no mistake about it, but we just can’t call it entirely new material.

Regardless, anything that Avicii releases is worth checking out and if you’re curious to see what the EDM superstar has been up to lately, give it a listen below.
