While driven predominantly by the sort of chugging buildup-drop scheme that’s become a ubiquitous part of the EDM landscape, “Dream Bigger” takes a respectable risk by incorporating a distorted electric guitar melody that makes it feel more like a hard rock anthem than what you might expect from a leading name in electronic music.

It works, though – and in an ironic turn of events, Sebastian Ingrosso appears to have taken his protege, Alesso’s lead by emulating the hard rock sound in the track.
