Cash Cash fans have new cause for celebration this week, as the trio have announced that they’re working on a debut album. Titled Blood, Sweat & 3 Years, the effort results from what the New Jersey-based trio attest have been the most fulfilling and successful years of their individual music careers.
In regards to the past year or so, Cash Cash have begun to experiment with ever more eclectic styles; although best known for main stage-friendly progressive house tracks, the trio has dabbled in everything from trap to future house as of late. It’s unclear whether the 16 songs on Blood, Sweat & 3 Years will align towards one genre or many, but it stands to reason that it will be their best material to date.
In a message to their fans, Cash Cash said:
We’ve known each other for over 20 years and have been making music together for pretty much the same amount. We’ve toured the world numerous times seeing so many amazing views and sharing stories with some of the most extraordinary people. The last three years have truly been 3 of the best years of our lives. From achieving platinum records and hearing our music on the radio to having 30,000 people in South Korea scream back our lyrics..it’s honestly been the most unforgettable experience of our lives. That being said, people ask if we ever fight..does it ever get dark? Of course it does. We’re a group of two brothers and a best friend since 3rd grade. Shit gets out of control sometimes but no matter what we always come out on top. The title of this album represents that. It doesn’t always have to be “blood, sweat & tears.” Sometimes replacing tears with years is all that’s needed to make it happen…well it was enough to finish this album.
Full length albums can define chapters of people’s lives. Listening to a record can take you back to a certain era or period of your life in a split second. They just have that special power…Completing them is never easy but hey “what comes easy wont last, what lasts won’t come easy.” After countless holes in the wall, sleepless nights & fist fights, mental breakdowns, 1 million miles flown, multiple hospital visits, and roughly 1 thousand days….we proudly deliver you what we believe is our most creative work the three of us have ever made together. 16 songs that we hope will define this era of your life the same way it does ours. Cash Cash have yet to announce an official release date for Blood, Sweat & 3 Years, but they’ll likely tease out that and other tidbits from the album as we move further into festival season, so be sure to stay tuned!
