The Chainsmokers Announce Huge NYC Show At Terminal 5 On April 24th

The Chainsmokers have taken to Instagram today to announce some pretty exciting news. On April 24th, the boys will be in their hometown, NYC, for a huge show that's set to take place at Terminal 5. Along for the ride will be special guests Grandtheft and Bebe Rexha and if the initial announcement is anything to go by, we're in for one hell of a party.

The Chainsmokers have taken to Instagram today to announce some pretty exciting news. On April 24th, the boys will be in their hometown, NYC, for a huge show that’s set to take place at Terminal 5. Along for the ride will be special guests Grandtheft and Bebe Rexha and if the initial announcement is anything to go by, we’re in for one hell of a party.

When we asked Drew and Alex earlier today exactly what fans should expect, they told us that it’s going to be “special, fun and incredibly crazy.” They also mentioned that they wanted to create something unique with the Terminal 5 show.

You can check out their full quote below:

“New York City is our hometown, so that alone makes this a very special show. And then we have this incredible line up of talent with us in Bebe and Grandtheft. But to go into detail, basically we spent the last year traveling the world like lucky bastards, and just DJ’ing. It was fun, but it was the bare minimum and now we are done with that. With this show, we really are aiming to create something unique for our fans and their experience with our music and energy.

We have been grinding extremely hard to finish an incredible amount of unreleased music which we plan to premiere at the show, but we also teamed up with V Squared Labs to create a stage unique to our needs that will transform the traditional show experience into something much more intense, and we are working VERY hard on it. We won’t sit here and say nonsense like it’s shit that people have never seen before, but maybe it will be. Either way, it’s going to be special, it’s going to be fun, and it’s going to be an incredibly crazy night!”

Tickets are currently on sale over at Want Tickets, and at only $31 a piece, I’d definitely recommend picking one up. If you’ve ever seen Alex and Drew live, you’ll know that they’re great performers and always put on a wild show. This NYC concert is certainly going to be a big one and seeing as they’ll be bringing with them all of their new music and production, you can bet that it will be a very memorable night.

Tell us, will you be checking out The Chainsmokers when they hit Terminal 5 in April? Sound off below in the comments section and let us know.
