Earlier this year, Mad Decent head honcho Diplo announced that his esteemed label would be adding a new addition to its established brand of festivals. Mad Decent Block Party and Mad Decent Boat Party have already been well received by the dance music community, so it was only natural when Mad Decent Beach Party was revealed as the newest festival on the label’s event lineup.
The first round of artists have been now announced for the event, giving us our first look at the talent secured. Heavy hitters such as Diplo, Major Lazer, NGHTMRE, Alison Wonderland, Dillon Francis, A-Trak and Flosstradamus appear on the list, as well as several others. That’s only the first wave of the lineup, too, and there are still more artists to be announced in the future – so stay tuned.
Mad Decent Beach Party is scheduled to go down in Riviera Maya, Mexico from February 16-19, 2017. Tickets for the festival will go on sale August 2, so mark your calendars – this is bound to be one unforgettable party.
