EDM up-and-comers Scott Melker and Mister Gray recently teamed up on a remix of NERVO’s “Hey Ricky,” featuring Kreayshawn, Dev and Alisa, and have provided a very listenable track in the process.
While the original version was certainly a well-produced and enjoyable song in its own right, we’re definitely digging this take as well. Scott Melker and Mister Gray have isolated only a handful of vocal samples from the track for their remix, which also effectively adds an invigorating electro house bass drop into the mix.
Both based in Miami, Mister Gray and Scott Melker are relative fresh faces in the EDM community. Now that their remix of “Hey Ricky” has got our attention, however, we’ll be keeping a close eye on each of their camps in the months to follow – and we hope that you do, too.
