J. Cole Releases New Song Called Killers

Here's a new track from North Carolina's J. Cole called Killers. This is easily the best song I've heard from Cole in a while now. From the title alone, you'd expect this to be a typical braggadocio gangster rap song but J. Cole comes at it with his soulful take on the subject. The first verse is especially emotional as he talks about shooting a man, feeling ashamed and coming home to tell his mom it's not her fault that his life turned out like it is.

Hopefully with him signing to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, things will start moving forward for him and we’ll see his debut album ‘Cole World’ sometime this year.
