This Is How Much It Costs To Book EDM’s Top DJs

As EDM continues to explode into pop culture, DJs are demanding more and more money to play shows/festivals. How much are they asking for? Well, it depends on location, day of week, venue etc., but most of the top players in dance music today are taking in several hundred thousand dollars per show. Yes, you read that right. Hundreds of thousands of dollars for what is most likely a 1 hour set. Not to mention that most of the times, it's pre-recorded and not mixed live.

Anyways, QUOTE has been kind enough to put together some rough estimates of how much the top dogs earn on any given night, and the figures are definitely interesting. Calvin remains king when it comes to earnings, which is what we’ve often heard, but even someone like Martin Garrix can pull in $100,000 for a single show.

Check out the estimates below and let us know what you think. Are these DJs making too much money?

Calvin Harris: $350,000 – $550,000

David Guetta: $350,000

Tiësto: $350,000

Hardwell: $100,000 +

Martin Garrix: $100,000

Afrojack: $50,000 – $100,000

Armin van Buuren: $50,000 – $100,000

Oliver Heldens: $10,000 – $30,000
