“Sky High” features the grandiose synth work and chugging rhythms characteristic of a big room house anthem. A crystalline upswell builds into the track’s iconic synth lead before segueing into a barbaric drop basically engineered for festival main stages.

While it’s difficult to pinpoint the exact points where Tiësto‘s edit on the track begins and ends, it’s easy to unofficially attribute the pitch bending on the synth lead to him since it sounds stylistically similar to what we’ve heard on tracks like his and KSHMR’s “Secrets.” Although it’s already been played out considerably in the weeks leading up to its official release by the likes of Hardwell, Nicky Romero and Jauz, “Sky High” will undoubtedly find its way into even more sets as festival season draws to a close.
