The latest news regarding the mau5trap head honcho is no departure from that reputation, as deadmau5 took to Twitch to criticize his fellow Canadian Justin Bieber, giving a lengthy explanation of why he can’t accept the pop star’s recent renaissance.

In the rant, deadmau5, real name Joel Zimmerman, explains why he’s not a supporter of Bieber’s latest album, Purpose, which has revitalized the young singer’s career following the blowback he received for his behavior over the last few years. Zimmerman explains that his issue with the album isn’t so much about its quality, but rather what he views as Skrillex allowing himself to be a puppet for artists like Bieber, who attach their name to music written by other people.

“It’s not that I have a problem with dubstep, or Skrillex, or those guys that do things,” says Joel. “It’s that I have a problem that they enable themselves and they put themselves in these positions to be a part of… bullshit.”
