After wrapping up his debut headlining US tour last month, Don Diablo is gearing up for his first official release of 2017 as he teases his upcoming single “Switch.” During the latest episode of Hexagon Radio, the Dutch DJ took the opportunity to kick off the mix with the new tune, which is set to arrive later next week.
“Switch” arrives as a scorching club tune, starting off with an extended intro as Don Diablo builds up the energy with rhythmic arpeggios and ominous bass stabs. As the music grows in intensity, the producer takes us into the drop as he introduces shuffling house rhythms paired against rowdy pitch shifted synth riffs.
With his latest effort, Don Diablo is primed to get 2017 off to a strong start. With a carefully crafted production and plenty of firepower for the dancefloors, “Switch” arrives as another strong offering from the Hexagon Records head honcho that is sure to please fans.
