For their “Capsize” remix, Dzeko & Torres pick up the pace to deliver an upbeat re-imagining of the song. A plucky melody kicks the tune off before the familiar vocal hooks enter the mix, layered over a tropical flavored progression. The duo slowly add in light percussion elements, working the energy up as the song moves into the drop. From there, an uplifting melody takes over, layered over bouncy rhythms and crunchy bass.

Compared to the original version of “Capsize,” Dzeko & Torres craft an energetic backdrop with a lighthearted appeal. Utilizing the source material well, the duo dream up a worthy rendition that stands tall on its own merit. With its upbeat vibes and catchy melodies, this is one remix you’ll be playing over and over.
