Chris Lake’s “Bonfire” remix contrasts the tropical original with a heavier sound, opening with offbeat piano chords and light percussion layered under ALMA’s soulful vocal delivery. After an intense build up, the track moves into beefed up drops with a catchy horn melody over undeniably mainstage friendly beats.

The video for Chris Lake’s rework serves as a recap for Jaehn’s busy summer filled with touring and festival appearances, with plenty of high octane live footage of the DJ performing onstage before massive crowds. We also get some behind the scenes shots from a photo shoot with the German producer. There’s even a brief cameo from none other than Steve Aoki towards the end of the clip.

With slick production values and an awesome rendition of “Bonfire,” the new video serves as a fitting tribute to Felix Jaehn‘s growing success as a producer.
