It Doesn’t Get Much Better Than Freaknight 2015’s Lineup

You might not expect a Halloween rave in the Northwest to command a substantial draw. EDM hasn't taken hold there like it has in many other parts of the country, and the region's weather doesn't exactly lend itself to large-scale live music events that far into the fall. Nonetheless, Freaknight has proven itself a worthy contender among festivals like Escape and HARD Day of the Dead in the past, and this year's festivities look as though they'll measure up to the standard set by previous editions.

You might not expect a Halloween rave in the Northwest to command a substantial draw. After all, EDM hasn’t taken hold there like it has in many other parts of the country, and the region’s weather doesn’t exactly lend itself to large-scale live music events that far into the cold season. Nonetheless, Freaknight has proven itself a worthy contender among festivals like Escape and HARD Day of the Dead in the past, and this year’s festivities look as though they’ll measure up to the standard set by previous editions.

The two-day event’s phase one lineup alone features three 2014 DJ Mag Top 10 artists: deadmau5, Tiësto and Nicky Romero. Sets by Nero, Carnage, Adventure Club and Diplo will round out the bass music end of the spectrum with some of the style’s biggest names, and Freaknight also promises to appeal to the underground fan’s sensibilities with its All Gone Pete Tong stage.

…Oh, were you still wondering about the cold? Luckily, the Tacoma Dome at which Freaknight will take place in Tacoma, Washington will shield all attendees from the elements for the duration of the outing.

After seeing Freaknight‘s phase one lineup are you considering attending, or have you already resigned yourself to another event for Halloween? Sound off in the comments!
