Contrasting the soulful vibes present on the original release, the new remix sees Hardwell in more familiar territory as he and KAAZE craft an electrifying dancefloor backdrop. The two producers take their time to work the energy up in the remix, starting off slowly as they layer in spacey sound design and drifting melodies under Jay Sean’s crooning. The drops are tuneful but powerful, as a buzzing lead delivers a catchy melody over driving four on the floor beats.

Hardwell and KAAZE’s new version of “Thinking About You” definitely kicks it into overdrive with a high octane facelift, and fans who felt the original release didn’t exemplify the Dutch DJ’s sound enough will surely be satisfied. The new remix serves its purpose well, and we expect it will be getting plenty of rotation in Hardwell‘s live sets.
