Jason Derulo Releases It Girl

Jason Derulo has released the second single from his upcoming sophomore album Future History. Titled It Girl, the track is a big change from what we heard with the first single, Don't Wanna Go Home. Whereas the previous track was a pure club banger, this one is more mellow and laid-back. Derulo's soulful voice is backed by a soothing acoustic guitar melody and a pleasant whistle in the background.

Jason Derulo has released the second single from his upcoming sophomore album Future History. Titled It Girl, the track is a big change from what we heard with the first single, Don’t Wanna Go Home.

Whereas the previous track was a pure club banger, this one is more mellow and laid-back. Derulo’s soulful voice is backed by a soothing acoustic guitar melody and a pleasant whistle in the background, before the catchy hook comes in.

You could be my it girl / Baby, you’re the sh– girl /Lovin’ you could be a crime / Crazy how we fit, girl / This is it, girl / Gimme 25 to life / I just wanna rock all night long and put you in the middle of my spotlight / You could be my it girl / You’re my biggest hit, girl / Let me play it loud.”

I actually really like this one, it’s another strong effort from Derulo and has me even more excited for Future History, which drops on Sept 27th.
