Bass house pioneer Jauz would have to go out of his way not to have a spectacular 2016. The previous year set into motion such a profoundly successful career for the artist that he’s become one of the most sought-after names in EDM, and even though he’s waited a few weeks to put anything out since the turn of the year, his and Aryay’s remix of Skrillex’s “Stranger” certainly looks promising.

The remix doesn’t stray far from the original track’s dubstep roots – a genre to which Jauz himself is certainly no stranger. Menacing bass wobbles give it a primal energy that indicates it would sound best if listened to on a proper system, but until either artist makes a high-quality version available, you’ll just have to use your imagination.
