A physical altercation transpired between Cash Cash member Jean Paul Makhlouf and members of rapper Tyga’s entourage at the Inception at Sea Cruise last weekend. Makhlouf suffered a concussion, kidney damage, and bruises to the face and body, and the EDM trio was forced to miss their set at the event.

A Cash Cash representative alleges that the incident arose because Tyga wouldn’t leave the stage after his set overlapped with theirs. They explained:

One member of Tyga’s touring crew hit Jean Paul Makhlouf of Cash Cash in the face following a verbal altercation when Tyga’s crew refused to leave the stage after the promoter called Cash Cash to start their already delayed set.

Makhlouf suffered a concussion [and] injured kidney, alongside bruises to his head and body following the scuffle.

A Tyga crew member was then filmed kicking Jean Paul in the ribs, while another Tyga crew member slammed him to the ground, punching and kicking his head and body while on top of him.

The EDM trio has not been shy about the incident and have aired their grievances on social media. Among other details of the situation, they tweeted the following photo:

Neither Tyga nor any of his affiliates have issued an official statement in regards to the situation. We Got This Covered wishes Jean Paul Makhlouf a speedy recovery though and we’ll be sure to bring you more on the story as it develops.
