Back in November, Justice revealed that they’d be dropping a new essential mix for BBC Radio 1, serving as the follow-up to their debut essential mix in 2007. The announcement served as part of the promotional campaign leading up to the release of the duo’s new studio album Woman (which made the cut on our list of the 10 best EDM albums of 2016). The mix was originally planned for November 12, but was pushed back due to scheduling conflicts. Now, the group have finally announced that their new essential mix will arrive this weekend.
The announcement of a second essential mix garnered nearly as much hype as the duo’s new album, and fans will be excited to know Justice will return to BBC Radio 1’s mixing console this Saturday, November 17. It’s been nearly a decade since they dropped their debut essential mix, which went on to gain acclaim from fans and critics alike. As such, anticipation is naturally at an all-time high.
As the wait for Justice‘s new essential mix draws to a close, now’s the perfect time to reflect on the duo’s first outing from 2007, which can be listened to above. Check it out and stay tuned for the new mix to arrive on Saturday.
