A live video of The Chainsmokers from last winter has recently surfaced that features an upcoming collaboration with Tropical house producer Matoma. The duo gave a nod to the tune in an interview with Idolator last year, revealing that it was written while on tour and basically completed in a single day.
The video was captured during a performance in Pittsburgh last November and gives us the first taste of the upcoming effort, as The Chainsmokers bring Matoma out on stage to drop their collaboration for the lucky crowd. The song features a characteristically radio friendly sound, complete with uplifting melodies and catchy vocals set against upbeat rhythms and strong production values.
The new collab is further testament to the fact that everything The Chainsmokers touch turns to gold, and we’ll certainly be looking forward to the official release.
