Following a desire to get back to his songwriting roots, Markus Schulz has revealed that a new album has been completed. Following up on his work with Delacey on last year's "Destiny", which will serve as the first single from the album, the as of yet untitled LP will be Schulz' sixth full length record.

Following a desire to get back to his songwriting roots, Markus Schulz has revealed that a new album has been completed. Following up on his work with Delacey on last year’s “Destiny,” which will serve as the first single from the album, the as of yet untitled LP will be Schulz’ sixth full length record.

I just finished it. I’ve been working on this album for two years. Obviously, everybody’s heard one of the first singles from the album, “Destiny”…“Face Down” is another one. The album right now, as it sits, is 17 tracks, and I think the best is yet to come. Like I said, it took me two years to make as I worked with some immensely talented songwriters on this album and I’m just very proud of it.

Offering up seventeen tracks in total, the forthcoming LP is expected to follow suit with last year’s “Destiny,” with plenty more vocal collaborations of a similar nature set to be included. With the album being reported as completed by Schulz himself, fans can likely expect an official release date and title to be announced in the next few weeks, so stay tuned.
