Michael Woods is back and has for us a great new progressive house track titled “Brain Went Ping,” courtesy of mau5trap Recordings. It’s a bit different than what we’re used to hearing from the producer, but it’s definitely an interesting listen.

Clocking in at just over 8 minutes, the futuristic track takes you on one hell of a trip. Full of energy and a heavy bassline, Woods’ newest creation sports fantastic production as it develops from a slow and steady techno beat to something so much more, with recurring synths guiding it along the way. It’s refreshing, unique and a definite breath of fresh air in the over-cluttered EDM scene.

Take a listen to “Brain Went Ping” below and if you like what you hear, grab it off Beatport.
