Nas Speaks On Lost Tapes Vol. 2 Release

Nas teased fans and sent a letter urging Def Jam to release his second volume of outtakes and unreleased gems late last year but obviously now that it is 2011, that plan did not come through. The Queensbridge rapper now speaks in an interview with MTV that the release may have a new plan.

I kind of lost time… I’m starting my next album. So I feel like I’ll probably give ‘The Lost Tapes’ as a deluxe, maybe, on the next album for free. I’m trying to figure that out now.

He also hinted that issues between himself and Def Jam may result in his next album not being released on the label. “It’s not safe to say that it’s gonna be on Def Jam. You know, news at 11. We coming with the information on that soon.
