Over the span of three minutes, NGHTMRE crafts an absolute banger from the remains of “Dead.” The new remix kicks off with a deceptively mellow intro, with some plodding piano chords set against spiraling melodies and chopped up vocal samples. As percussion elements push the energy upward, the speakers are filled with mind bending electronics that lead into the drop. Whining leads extend over booming 808 beats, creating an intense rhythm that’s bound to send the festival crowds into a frenzy.

Fans of Slander’s original will be pleased with the new flip, which takes the track’s best elements and pushes them into overdrive for a scorcher of a trap banger.

NGHTMRE has offered up his new “Dead” remix as a free download, so be sure to grab your own copy here.
