After releasing his first EP following the departure of former collaborator Flume last week, What So Not has taken to social media to tease his latest joint production, teaming up once again with RL Grime for a new single. The two artists had previously hit the studio together to roll out “Tell Me” two years ago, a blend of ethereal melodies and hard hitting trap that fans still gush over today.

What So Not shared an image on Instagram featuring himself and RL Grime, with the caption revealing that the two producers had just finished up work on their latest collaboration moments before the picture was snapped. They’ve yet to reveal a release date or track title for the upcoming single, but hopefully they won’t leave us waiting too long now that they’ve begun to gear up the hype machine.

Trying to look as hard as this tune we just finished @rlgrime

The collaboration announcement comes during a surge of creativity for What So Not, who just released his latest EP Divide & Conquer on September 9, while RL Grime teased the tracklist of his upcoming sophomore album earlier in the summer.

Stay tuned for more updates as their new collaboration gets closer to being released.
