Oliver Heldens Goes Darker On “Ghost” Ft. RUMORS

With festival season right around the corner, Oliver Heldens has spared no expense in putting his name back in music fans' mouths. The Dutch future house poster boy has stacked Heldeep releases on top of live music debuts, and "Ghost" stands as evidence that he hadn't stopped there, either.

With festival season right around the corner, Oliver Heldens has spared no expense in putting his name back in music fans’ mouths. The Dutch future house poster boy has stacked Heldeep releases on top of live music debuts, and “Ghost” stands as evidence that he’s just getting started.

Driven by a somewhat more sinister groove than Heldens’ typically lively productions, the reverberant bass lines of “Ghost” straddle the ever-fine line between bass house and future house. Lyrical contributions by RUMORS make for a cerebral accompaniment, giving the track more radio appeal than it would have with the short, sweet vocal samples common to house music.

In addition, Heldens’ camp has revealed that an official music video for “Ghost” is on the way – although an exact release date has yet to be revealed.
