Revoke is breaking the silence with the release of his new single “Don’t Leave The Light On,” featuring Tom Cantillon on vocal duties. The new effort is not only the Venice based producer’s first single after a nearly year long hiatus, but also serves as the debut release on Trap Nation’s newest imprint, Lowly Palace.
On “Don’t Leave The Light On,” Revoke delivers a restrained production beneath Tom Cantillon’s bittersweet vocal delivery, filling the speakers with a somber bell melody layered over simple hip hop style beats and orchestral strings. Moving into the chorus, the production grows in intensity as a haunting horn melody takes the lead over crashing rhythms.
The accompanying music video for “Don’t Leave The Light On” depicts a tale of lifelong love, with footage of two lovers on a series of romantic escapades edited alongside footage of them playing together as children, creating an emotional companion to the song that will tug at your heart strings.
Revoke has offered up his latest single as a free download, which can be found here.
