DJ Snake is set to have one of the most remixed singles of the year as he reveals yet another version of his hit “Let Me Love You.” The song has already became the subject of reworks courtesy of Tiësto, Marshmello, Don Diablo and Zedd, only to be reformed yet again yesterday with a vocal edit courtesy of R. Kelly. Now, Jamaican vocalist Sean Paul has become the latest artist to offer up his own rendering of “Let Me Love You.”
Like R. Kelly’s version, the Sean Paul rendition of “Let Me Love You” is closer to a vocal edit than a true remix. The background music and production remain unchanged, with Justin Bieber’s vocals removed in the verses to make way for Sean Paul’s recognizable rap delivery.
Not much has changed on the latest version of “Let Me Love You,” but Sean Paul’s accented vocals bring a certain dancehall vibe to the table that enhances the tropical production of the original tune. At this point, it looks like DJ Snake is hoping to milk the single for all it’s worth, so don’t be surprised if further “Let Me Love You” remixes surface in the near future.
