Recently, Skrillex ran a promotion on his website for a free copy of a new Jack U track titled “Get Free/Cinema VIP.” Now that the song has been uploaded to various file sharing websites, we can tell you that it’s not an original cut. Rather, it’s a mashup of Benny Benassi’s “Cinema” with Major Lazer’s “Get Free,” two excellent songs.

While it would have been nice to see some new, original Jack U music, this is still a pretty solid mashup and considering that it’s free, you can’t really complain. Plus, with the duo playing at Madison Square Garden for New Year’s Eve, you can bet that they’ll be dropping some unreleased, new tracks in the very near future.

For now, however, check out the recent Jack U mashup below and let us know what you think of it in the comments section!
