Skrillex’s “Show Me Love” Remix Features Chance The Rapper Among Others

Let's address the elephant in the room right off the bat: No, this is not yet another remix of Robin S' 1993 classic "Show Me Love." It is, in face, the Skrillex remix of a track of the same name which features vocals from the likes of Chance The Rapper and Moses Sumney.

Let’s address the elephant in the room right off the bat: No, this is not yet another remix of Robin S’ 1993 classic “Show Me Love.” It is, in fact, the Skrillex remix of a track of the same name which features vocals from the likes of Chance The Rapper and Moses Sumney.

The meandering pace of the track is kept by a subtly syncopated low end, with Nicole Miglis’ feathery vocal from the original still taking center stage. Chance The Rapper’s verse is the most noteworthy addition to the arrangement, which otherwise occurs to us as one of Skrillex’s more minimalistic productions.

Hundred Waters is one of the more unexpected acts signed to Skrillex’s OWSLA imprint. With his support, however, the Gainesville, Florida indie band will surely gain access to a substantially wider audience.

YouTube removed the first upload of Skrillex‘s remix of Hundred Waters’ “Show Me Love,” but you can hear its debut on BBC Radio 1 host Annie Mac’s radio show at 48:50 in the Flash player linked here.
