Slushii has been charging this year with a relentless string of quality releases, and now we’ve gotten another dose of what this adorable frozen beverage has to offer.
Titled “Emptiness,” this single is a gorgeous assortment of melodies worthy of his Monstercat debut. However, for all its cuteness, the true soul of the track shines in its merciless breakdown. Tight, clean, and aggressive, this is quality dubstep through and through.
The ‘pretty’ synths of the bridge and builds are a superb betrayal of what lies beneath the song’s surface, and who knows, maybe this is how a slushy feels when it’s all sipped up and empty inside…
