Who says festival season is over? Nobody in the Toronto scene, apparently. While the rest of the Northern Hemisphere gears up for New Years Eve celebrations, the Canadian electronic music hotspot is buzzing over the lineup announcements for the 2015 edition of Solaris Winter Music Festival.

Who says festival season is over? Nobody in the Toronto scene, apparently. While the rest of the Northern Hemisphere gears up for New Years Eve celebrations, the Canadian electronic music hotspot is buzzing over the lineup announcements for the 2015 edition of Solaris Winter Music Festival, which will take place on December 26th and 27th.

Hardwell, Steve Angello, Oliver Heldens and Carnage make up the highest tier of headliners on the lineup announcement, with artists like Mark Oliver, Wiwek, Borgeous and Manzone & Strong rounding out the talent selection.

Toronto’s ever-discerning community of music fans has already taken issue with the lineup announcement in typically vocal fashion. Last year’s attendees were fortunate enough to see the likes of Skrillex, Kaskade and Adventure Club, and many have drawn comparisons between this year’s lineup and that of similar festivals like VELD and Digital Dreams.

Perhaps the next wave of lineup announcements for Solaris Winter Music Festival will appease music fans more than these. For now, though, check out phase 1 below and let us know what you think.
