You might think that the Bay Area would already have its hands full preparing to host Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, but it looks like an entirely different type of event will accompany it that weekend. Super City 50 : Urban EDM Event will add to the weekend’s festivities by providing a much-needed musical draw, making for a single-day event that should appeal to a considerable number of electronic music fans in the area.
The event already has three big names on its roster: Diplo, Alesso and The Chainsmokers. Los Angeles-based collective Low End Theory will curate its own stage, at which artists like Gaslamp Killer and EPROM are slated to perform. In addition, there will be one final artist on the lineup – but the event’s organizers have yet to reveal who it might be.
As it stands, though, Super City 50 : Urban EDM Event already has enough going for it that it should draw a sizeable crowd. After seeing the lineup so far, let us know if the event has piqued your interest by commenting below.
