Above & Beyond Tease Acoustic II With “Hello”

It's hard not to love Above & Beyond. Everything they've done in the world of trance oozes a sincerity that's rare to contemporary electronic music artists of their status, and the uplifting qualities of their music has afforded them opportunities to build onto their brand in new and exciting ways. Most recently, they announced an album called Acoustic II to coincide with an upcoming tour, and they've just given us a taste of what's to come on the effort.

A clip of a track titled “Hello” that barely exceeds the one-minute mark promises a largely instrumental tone for the album that follows up their 2014 album, Acoustic. An accompanying blurb reveals that Above & Beyond will perform with a full band for the ten-city tour – which mostly consists of performances throughout North America throughout May and one in Sydney on June 6th.

While it’s difficult to make strong assertions about what we can expect from Above & Beyond‘s fourth studio album, Acoustic II, based on the teaser for “Hello” alone, the trio is sure to let more of the disc trickle out in the months leading up to its release.
