Seriously, we couldn’t make this up if we tried. There is a three-year-old electronic music artist that goes by DJ Arch Jnr, and he has literally been booked for an event called Back To The Old Skool.

DJ Arch Jnr became a viral sensation of sorts after being awarded $35,000 for being declared the winner of South Africa’s Got Talent back in November. While many wrote him off as a passing gimmick, he now shows promise as a full-fledged electronic music act – despite being a toddler, he will share the stage with the likes of Black Coffee, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez and David Morales.

While it’s so unlikely that a three-year-old could even count beats that his tracks are undoubtedly synced, the lack of overhead footage from his television debut makes it difficult to determine whether or not he’s doing any actual mixing. Nonetheless, DJ Arch Jnr somehow still somehow seems more deserving of his DJ career than Aiden Jude ever did.

What feedback from DJ Arch Jnr‘s set emerges after his set at Back To The Old Skool will likely determine how seriously the electronic music community takes him moving forward, so check back with us after then to see how the young DJ’s career develops.
