Traveler’s Remix Of Queen And David Bowie’s “Under Pressure” Is The Future

Although a relatively unknown name in electronic music, Traveler may well reach a wider audience in 2016. The livetronica duo has delivered a remix of David Bowie and Queen’s 1982 hit “Under Pressure” that achieves a stylistic synthesis that seems to be resonating with the modern generation of electronic music fans.

Not far removed from what 3LAU recently delivered with “Is It Love,” Traveler’s “Under Pressure” remix interweaves instrumental and vocal samples from the original with reverberant bass lines. It pays homage to the original while still managing to bring new ideas to the table, resulting in a track guaranteed to garner the duo more attention over the course of this year’s festival season.
