VELD Music Festival Announces deadmau5 As First Headliner

Though he took last year off, deadmau5 will be back for the 2015 edition of Toronto's VELD Music Festival. INK Entertainment announced the hometown hero as the first headliner earlier today, and though no more artists were revealed, having Joel as the first act definitely signals that INK is going big this year.

Though he took last year off, deadmau5 will be back for the 2015 edition of Toronto’s VELD Music Festival. INK Entertainment announced the hometown hero as the first headliner earlier today, and though no more artists were revealed, having Joel as the first act definitely signals that INK is going big this year.

Taking place in Downsview Park on August 1/2, the festival came under fire last year for several drug-related deaths as well as a poor choice of lineup. There have, however, been rumblings of big things and several changes in store for VELD 2015, and by bringing back deadmau5, who played to an ecstatic crowd for the festival’s first two years, INK is certainly off to a good start.

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks, as we expect more announcements to be made shortly.
