Even though Zayn Malik is only 23, there’s no doubt that he’s lived an incredibly crazy life. After leaving One Direction in March of 2015, he didn’t fade away into obscurity. In fact, he proved that he was born for the limelight, launching a solo career that’s been successful straight off the bat, with the release of his fantastic debut full-length, Mind of Mine, just a couple months ago. Now, we’ll most likely see all of this and more – this time on his terms – in a new autobiography.
Penguin Random House announced plans to publish the singer’s first ever autobiography, aptly titled, Zayn, and it’ll be out on November 1st. Zayn is expected to include things like personal photographs as well as drawings, and the purpose of its creation is so that people can judge him based on him and “not what the press or anyone else says.”
Zayn Malik’s been in news as of late because of show cancellations over the past couple months, where the pop star has cited extreme anxiety affecting his solo performances. In addition to the autobiography, he’s also making a television show called Boys which is inspired by his time in One Direction. With his new album release and a television show looming, it seems like Zayn is only going to be the tip of the iceberg for the next chapter of his career.
