Fans of Zeds Dead who have followed the duo since their 2010-2011 breakthrough will be pleasantly surprised by its somewhat melodic yet decidedly wobbly bass drop. Diplo’s influence shines through more so in the verses, where minimalistic production elements accompany Elliphant’s vocals.

Diplo also recently collaborated with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on a track that the duo premiered during a performance at Ejekt Festival in Greece. Needless to say, the hip-hop/bass music icon is truly living up to the title of his 2014 compilation album Random White Dude Be Everywhere.

Being that Northern Lights doesn’t come out until September, Zeds Dead will undoubtedly release more songs from the effort in the months leading up to the effort’s release. For now, though, have a listen to “Blame” above and let us know what you think.
