ZHU Officially Releases Genesis Series EP

After a series of ZHU releases that spanned several months and drew from a talent pool diverse enough to include Skrillex, AlunaGeorge and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the mysterious artist has officially released the Genesis Series EP. The six-track effort marks the first time any of the tracks have been available for purchase, and arrives in the package of non-marketing that has become the producer's calling card.

The six-track effort marks the first time any of the songs have been available for purchase, and arrives in the package of non-marketing that has become the producer’s calling card.

The tracklist for the Genesis Series EP follows the actual order in which the tracks were debuted, with “Automatic” and “Working For It” bordering it on the beginning and end, respectively. While the release itself arrived in a typically anticlimactic fashion (a post to ZHU’s Facebook page simply read “‘Genesis Series EP’ 001-006”), a previous post offered a glimpse into the ethos behind it:
