I personally believe that all up and comers in the music scene deserve all the attention they can get. If an artist has talent and ambition, then they should have no problem finding support. Not many people have the luxury of finding success through connections or the work of others, so it’s always great to see someone become a big name through a DIY work ethic. On that note, allow me to introduce you to Bam, a young rapper coming out of New York with something to say.
Oh, well isn’t this cute. Chris Brown has recruited ex-girlfriend Rihanna to drop some lines on his new hit Turn Up The Music. Before you say it, I know what you’re thinking. Didn’t Breezy lay a beating on Rihanna just a few years ago? And now she’s helping him with his music? It’s a strange world out there folks.
New Nicki Minaj music dropped today. A tagged version of Marilyn Monroe, the female MC’s newest song, has hit the internet for your listening pleasure. No word on if it will be on Nicki’s sophomore LP but I sure hope it is. It’s not exactly “Monster” Minaj but I do like it.
I’ve always been a big fan of John Legend, and this latest single just serves as more of a reminder as to why he’s so great. Featuring Ludcaris, Tonight (Best You Ever Had) is a classic Legend track that is already racking up the plays on my iTunes.
Every week there’s a ton of great music unleashed onto the internet, especially in the hip hop genre. We’ve gone through a vast chunk of them and here are the tracks that we think are worth checking out.

B.O.B. has released the first single from his upcoming album. Hitting iTunes on October 3rd, the track features Lil Wayne in what is sure to be a chart topper.
A bit of new music has surfaced this weekend, coming to us from pop singers Jason Derulo and Jay Sean.
What a perfect song to close out the sumer. Flo Rida has released Good Feeling, a new single off his upcoming album Only 1 Rida (Part 2). Co-produced by Dr. Luke and Avicii, this song was engineered for radio play and nightclubs.
A fantastic new track from the upcoming Lil Wayne album, Tha Carter IV, has dropped today. Titled Mirrors and featuring Bruno Mars, this is one of the best Weezy songs I’ve heard in a long time. As expected, Lil Wayne drops the main bars while Mars comes in with a soulful hook.
